Rusty: A steam engine, the shy, naive Rusty is in love with Pearl. When he loses his love, his confidence falters. In a triumph of the human spirit he finds his way to the Starlight Express.
Electra: A brand new state-of-the-art electric engine, Electra is a late entry to the race. Looking like an androgynous rock star, Electra is truly an AC/DC character accompanied by his wild entourage.
Greaseball: A diesel, Greaseball is the hot, flashy power of the Union Pacific and champion from the U.S.A. An Elvis look-alike, he acts like a cad whenever he thinks he has found something new and better.
Pearl: An Observation Car who can't make up her mind.
Dinah: A Dining Car, whose blue plate special is love on the rocks.
Ashley: The sassy Smoking Car huffs and puffs around the tracks, hanging out with her girlfriends and offering advice.

- Version 1.5.2 was released mid July 97, with corrections to an awful lot of cicns, dctbs, actbs, ics4s, STR, vers, etc..
- Version 1.5.4 was released 31 July 97, with bright little kinky arrows on the scrollbars,
messed with the actbs, dctbs, cluts, etc, for that gorgeous MacOS8 feel.
